Hi. I'm Piffy. I'm made of books and strings and butterfly wings, and accept all pronouns. Your perception of my gender is more about you than it is about me, and that's okay. I accept most respectful nicknames, too; "Piffy" is a typo on "Piggy" that stuck, and it's fine to address me as Pig in an otherwise respectful manner.

I'm 30, married, and am a fan of most things horror. I'm trying to find a balance between having some Very Strong Opinions, unironically loving dark scary fiction, and trying to be the ball of sunshine I want to see in the world. I think I'm doing okay most of the time, but when I fuck up I seek to learn from it and do better next time. I'm very into radical compassion these days.

I'm not required to disclose any health, ability, or demographic information to strangers on the internet, but in the interest of improving communication and setting boundaires, consider the following when you interact with me:

• As a semi-verbal autistic person, I often struggle to convert my thoughts into words. Sometimes the best I can do is get into the ballpark of what I mean. Sometimes the word machine's just broken. I do not owe anyone perfect articulation, and I am attempting to communicate in good faith. Maliciously misinterpreting me based on failure to use the perfect words is only going to make you look like an ableist fool.


• As an autistic person who functions best under rigid and explicit conduct expectations, I hate double standards and the concept of acceptable targets. If something's bad to do to someone, it's bad to do to someone. I wasted too many years of my life struggling to navigate an ever-shifting implicit exceptions list I didn't know existed, and thinking that getting burned by secret rules seemingly at random made me a terrible person. Fuck that. I'm done. I stan the Universal Declaration of Human Rights across the board now, and you may take your wibbly-wobbly moral if/else statements elsewhere.
